BTS Makes History As “BE” Debuts at No. 1 On Billboard 200

BTS made history this year (when they didn’t) with many accomplishments. Shortly after “Dynamite” reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and receive a Grammy nomination, they recently reached their fifth No. 1 on the Billboard 200 Albums chart with their latest album BE.

BTS’s ‘BE’ Album Becomes Their Fifth No.1 Album On Billboard 200 Chart

This is critical as they are now the first group to win two No.1 albums in 2020, and the second overall act after YoungBoy has never broken again.

In short, BTS has won five # 1 albums on this chart in just over two years and six months! The only group to win five # 1 albums faster was The Beatles, who earned it in just under two years and five months!

BTS’s First Week Total for their BEING The album is the largest for a group album, with 242,000 equivalent album units. After totaling their traditional album sales, track equivalent units, and streaming album equivalent units, they totaled 48.56 million audio streams in just the first week.

BTS tops the Billboard 200 album charts with Love Yourself: Tear, followed by Love Yourself: Answer, Map of the Soul: Persona, and Map of the Soul: 7.

What is even more amazing is that they were able to win this without and without collaborations, bundles, remixes or radio promotions!

Congratulations once again to BTS on another historic achievement!
